HEY, GOOD MORNING. YES, SO SEVERAL FIRES ARE STILL BURNING ACROSS WESTERN OKLAHOMA AND ALERT WAS PUT OUT TO WARN PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THE NEWKIRK FIRE IN KAY COUNTY YESTERDAY. THAT FIRE PUTTING A CASINO IN DANGER NEAR THE KANSAS STATE LINE. NOW HOMES WERE DAMAGED AND EVACUATIONS ISSUED IN OKLA IN WESTERN OKLAHOMA. GAGE AND SHATTUCK, WE JUST JUST TALKED ABOUT THAT. JONATHAN JUST MENTIONED IT. THEY WERE HIT HARD. STORM TRACKER SHANE HELTON HE WAS OUT STILL THIS MORNING AND FOUND A HOUSE THAT HAD BEEN DESTROYED IN THOSE FIRES. IS WHEN THE WIND SHIFTED LAST NIGHT WE WERE RIGHT HERE AND THERE WAS A HOUSE HERE. AND NOW YOU CAN SEE THAT THIS HOUSE IS GONE. THERE’S NOTHING LEFT BUT THE FOUNDATION AND THE CHIMNEY FRONT, FRONT STEPS TO THE PORCH. THAT’S IT. IT’S ALL GONE. OH, IT’S HARD. IT’S HARD TO SEE THAT THERE NOW.
