KOCO DAKOTA WAKISHA HAS THE CELEBRATION OF LIFE. IF YOU’RE A SOONER FAN LIKE HERE WE ARE, WE’RE GOING TO CHEERS TO TOBY TONIGHT. TUESDAY BROUGHT NEWS TO MANY THAT SHOCKED THEIR WORLD. THE COUNTRY MUSIC LEGEND TOBY KEITH HAD DIED TUESDAY NIGHT. THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA LAID OUT A SEAT WITH MEMORABILIA FOR TOBY. THINGS ARE DIFFERENT AT BEDLAM, WITH KEITH’S FAMILY IN ATTENDANCE. THEY GAVE ME A CAN. THEY OFFERED THE RED SOLO CUP, I SAID, OF COURSE. I MEAN, TOBY KEITH WAS A LEGEND. SATURDAY NIGHT’S BEDLAM MATCHUP REVOLVES AROUND TOBY KEITH, WITH BOTH FAN BASES SHOWING THEIR RESPECT BY RAISING A GLASS. HE’S JUST A REALLY BIG OKLAHOMA PERSON, HIM BEING TOBY KEITH. IT WAS JUST I HAVE TO DO IT. BIRD CREEK IS A COWBOY GRADUATE AND FAN FROM NORMAN. HE SAYS DRINKING OUT OF A RED SOLO CUP AT THE GAME IS THE LEAST HE COULD DO, EVEN THOUGH I WENT TO OSU, I LOVED SHOULD HAVE BEEN A COWBOY. I LOVE HIS PATRIOTISM. FANS SAY HE MEANT MUCH TO THEM. I’M A MUSIC TEACHER AND SO TOBY IS ONE OF THOSE FANS WHO’S TAUGHT MUSIC, PLAYED MUSIC. HE’S A LOCAL FROM OKLAHOMA, AND THAT’S LIKE WHO? YOU KNOW, WHEN YOU’RE HERE, IT’S AMAZING TO JUST LIFTING A CUP TO HIM, YOU KNOW, PAYING RESPECTS TO HIM. LIKE THAT’S ALL IT REALLY IS. IT’S NOT ANYTHING TO SHOW OR MAKE MONEY OFF OF.
