Kilee Thomas is a general assignment reporter for KOCO 5 News. You can watch her stories weeknights and Saturdays.

Thomas joined the KOCO 5 News team in 2021. She began her career at KQ2 TV in St. Joseph, Missouri where she was a morning anchor and reporter. During her time with KQ2 in Northwest Missouri, she covered the area’s top stories including the region’s first COVID-19 vaccination, major crime cases, as well as severe weather including flooding and tornado damage.

Kilee is a native to West Jordan, Utah. She graduated from The University of Utah where she majored in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. She interned at ABC 4 News in Salt Lake City.

While she’s not chasing down stories, Kilee is planning her next trip, going out for a run and hunting down the best foodie spots in OKC.
