TOLD YOU THAT THIS CREATED A LOT OF LOGISTICAL ISSUES. YEAH, GUYS. PEOPLE THAT LIVE ON A SECOND FLOOR DIDN’T HAVE MANY OPTIONS. THEY COULD EITHER STAY OR LEAVE, BUT THEY HAD TO WAIT UNTIL THE WORK WAS COMPLETELY DONE. AND IT’S NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAS HAPPENED AT THE COMPLEX. NOT EVEN 24 HOURS OF NOTICE. IT WAS I THINK 11:00 YESTERDAY MORNING. TENANTS AT QUAIL LAKES APARTMENTS FACED A TOUGH DECISION WEDNESDAY. EITHER YOU HAVE TO STAY INSIDE ALL DAY OR YOU HAVE TO LEAVE ALL DAY. NO EXCEPTIONS. WHEN THEY WERE TOLD THE STAIRS LEADING TO THEIR SECOND STORY, APARTMENTS WOULD BE OUT OF COMMISSION. YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE NO ACCESS TO YOUR STEPS ONCE THEY START WORK. WHEN THEY END WORK, AND IT’S WE DON’T KNOW HOW LONG IT’S GOING TO TAKE. PROBABLY I’LL PLAN ON BEING OUT ALL DAY. KOCO FIVE GOT THIS COPY OF A NOTICE GIVEN TO TENANTS. IT SAYS IN PART. QUOTE, ONCE THE REPAIRS BEGIN, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER OR LEAVE YOUR APARTMENT UNTIL THE REPAIRS ARE COMPLETED. THIS SPECIFIC DAY WAS IMPORTANT FOR ALANA. SHE LIVES WITH LUPUS AND HAS KIDNEY DISEASE, AND SHE WAS ABLE TO PLAN AROUND THE MAINTENANCE TO GET TO HER DOCTOR’S APPOINTMENT ON TIME. ANY DAY WOULD BE ANNOYING, BUT LET ALONE ON A DAY THAT I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR. FOR MONTHS FOR A DOCTOR APPOINTMENT TO HAPPEN. AND THEY’RE LIKE, YEP, JUST SORRY YOU GOT TO DEAL WITH IT. WE REACHED OUT TO QUAIL LAKES APARTMENTS. A REQUESTS FOR COMMENT WERE NOT RETURNED. THERE WAS A SIMILAR PROBLEM AT THIS SAME COMPLEX BACK IN APRIL. THIS YEAR, WHEN A TENANT FOUND HER STAIRS OUTSIDE HER APARTMENT, COMPLETELY GONE. I HAVE TO LET MY DOG OUT. I HAVE MY ULTRASOUND APPOINTMENT TO GO TO. I JUST HAPPENED TO GLANCE UP RIGHT BEFORE I WOULD HAVE GONE DOWN THE STAIRS AND THEY WERE GONE. THEY WERE COMPLETELY JUST NOT THERE. NOW. I DID HEAR FROM ALAINA AGAIN TONIGHT. SHE TOLD ME HER STAI
