Keenan Chavez, who attends Maryetta School in Stilwell, won the Doodle for Google contest. Earlier this year, Google asked students from across the country to submit ideas for the 16th annual contest.
The theme for this year's Doodle for Google contest was "My wish for the next 25 years..." in celebration of Google's 25th anniversary. Chavez wrote that he wants "for everybody to come from the world to have a good life so everybody will never fight."
The 9-year-old is one of 55 state and territory winners who were selected from tens of thousands of submissions, according to a news release. Click here to check out the 55 winners and to vote on your favorite to determine who will become the five national finalists.
