THIS IS AT INTER URBAN SINCE AROUND 3:00 THIS MORNING. KOCO AUDREY GOODSON THERE RIGHT NOW WITH WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW SO FAR, IT’S BEEN HOURS SINCE THE FIRE STARTED AND CREWS ARE STILL HERE ON SCENE TRYING TO DETERMINE A CAUSE, BUT THEY SAY WHEN THEY GOT HERE THEY ACTUALLY SAW FLAMES SHOOTING THROUGH THE ROOF OF THIS POPULAR RESTAURANT. THE FIRE CALLED IN AROUND 3:00 THIS MORNING BY A PASSERBY. NOW, WHEN CREWS GOT HERE, THEY IMMEDIATELY STARTED TO ATTACK THE FIRE BY GOING INSIDE OF THE BUILDING. INVESTIGATORS IN THERE DOING THEIR WORK. THEY’RE GOING TO MAKE THAT DETERMINATION ON WHAT WHAT ACTUALLY STARTED THIS FIRE. AND WHETHER IT STARTED ON THE INSIDE OR THE OUTSIDE. CREWS TELL US, CONSIDERING HOW MUCH FIRE AND SMOKE WAS COMING OUT OF THE BUSINESS WHEN THEY FIRST GOT HERE, THEY’RE GLAD THE DAMAGE WASN’T WORSE. The Edmond Fire Department is working to determine what caused the flames

Crews battled flames that were seen shooting from the roof of a popular Edmond restaurant early Monday morning.The fire started around 3 a.m. at Interurban near Danforth Road and Bryant Avenue. When crews arrived, they immediately started attacking the fire by going inside the building.Get the latest news stories of interest by clicking here.Once inside, authorities said crews put out the fire in less than an hour. The majority of the damage was to the restaurant's roof.The Edmond Fire Department is working to determine what caused the flames."Investigators are in there doing their work," Chris Denton, with the Edmond Fire Department, said. Crews battled flames that were seen shooting from the roof of a popular Edmond restaurant early Monday morning.

The fire started around 3 a.m. at Interurban near Danforth Road and Bryant Avenue. When crews arrived, they immediately started attacking the fire by going inside the building.

Once inside, authorities said crews put out the fire in less than an hour. The majority of the damage was to the restaurant's roof.

The Edmond Fire Department is working to determine what caused the flames.
