KIMBERLY KLEIN, A CO-OWNER OF KENDALL’S RESTAURANT IN NOBLE WALKING US THROUGH HER BUSINESS, SHOWING US WHAT SHE SAYS IS MAKING HER FEARFUL. THIS IS MY OFFICE AND IT’S ALWAYS CLOSED AND THEY WENT IN THERE AND CLEANED OUT THE SAFE. SATURDAY NIGHT DURING KENDALL’S DINNER RUSH. TWO PEOPLE THAT YOU CAN SEE IN THIS VIDEO WALKED IN THROUGH AN UNLOCKED LOADING DOCK DOOR IN THE BACK OF THEIR BUSINESS AND MINUTES LATER, WALKING RIGHT BACK OUT THE TWO, ACCORDING TO KLEIN, STOLE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FROM THE RESTAURANT. IT WAS A MATTER OF MNUTES WITH KLEIN SAYING SHE HAD ALMOST 200 CUSTOMERS IN THE RESTAURANT WHILE THE CRIME WAS BEING COMMITTED. THEY CAME OVER AND LOCKED THIS DOOR THAT DOOR SEPARATING THE OFFICE AND THEIR DRY GOODS LIKE FLOUR AWAY FROM THE FRONT WAITING AREA. SHE TRIED THAT DOOR, REALIZING IT WAS LOCKED. WALKING THE LONG WAY AROUND TO THE OFFICE, MOMENTS AFTER THE SUSPECTS WALKED OUT TO THINK THAT SOMEBODY WOULD BE BOLD ENOUGH TO WALK UP THE BACK AND POTENTIALLY, UM, COME INTO THE RESTAURANT THAT POTENTIALLY HURT SOMEBODY. YOU KNOW, JUST I DISBELIEF AND FEAR THEY’RE ONLY OPEN FOUR DAYS IN A WEEK WITH STRICT HOURS. THE MONEY INSIDE THE SAFE, LOCATED IN THE OFFICE, HELD MONEY THEY HAD MADE OVER SOME DAYS. THE RESTAURANT HAS BEEN HERE FOR DECADES, AND SHE SAYS SHE HAS ALWAYS FELT SAFE IN THIS COMMUNITY. BUT DOESN’T FEEL THAT WAY ANYMORE. SATURDAY’S I MEAN, THESE KIDS, WE ALL ARE IN HERE WORKING EIGHT AND TEN HOURS ON OUR FEET AND YEAH, IT HURTS. IT ABSOLUTELY HURTS. BUT IT’S JUST MONEY. I MEAN, IT IS JUST MONEY. IT COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH WORSE. THE OWNERS SAY THEY FILED A POLICE REPORT AND WE REACHED OUT TO NOBLE POLICE WHO SAY THAT THEY ARE INVESTIGATING THIS SITUATION AND THAT WE’RE ABLE TO FOLLOW UP ON THIS STORY WITH THEIR POLICE CHI
