FIRST ALERT WEATHER CENTER METEOROLOGIST JONATHAN CONDER WITH YOUR STORM AND SNOW TIMELINE. YES, THERE’S A CHANCE OF SNOW. DOES IT MAKE IT TO OKC? LIKELY NOT. MAYBE WOODWARD, BUT NORTHWESTERN, OKLAHOMA. THE PANHANDLES, THEY HAVE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY. THAT’S FOR 1 TO 3IN OF SNOW WILL BE BLOWING A LITTLE BIT. SO HERE’S PREDICTOR INTO THE AFTERNOON. WE’RE GOING TO HAVE STORMS GO UP IN EASTERN OKLAHOMA. SEE THOSE GOING UP. DRY LINE COMES IN STORMS FIRE. THESE SHOULD NOT REALLY BE SEVERE VERSUS SNOW SHOWERS UP IN NORTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA. THE BULK OF THE ACCUMULATING SNOW I MEAN IT’S SCATTERED BUT IT SHOULD BE EARLIER IN THE DAY. HOW MUCH SNOW ARE WE GOING TO SEE? WOODWARD I’LL GIVE YOU A TRACE OR LESS THAN AN INCH. AND THEN YOU GET IN THE PANHANDLE ABOUT 1 TO 2. LIGHT BLUE, DARK BLUE, ABOUT 2 OR 3 WITH AN ISOLATED FOUR CANNOT BE RULED OUT. SO SOME PRETTY COLD AIR. ALL RIGHT. Jonathan says the bulk of the accumulating snow will be scattered but earlier in the day.The Panhandle west of Guymon could see 2-4 inches of snow, while just east of that area could get 1-2 inches. KOCO 5 Meteorologist Jonathan Conder says counties in the Oklahoma Panhandle are under a winter weather advisory and could see 1-3 inches of snow.

While some storms could pop up in eastern Oklahoma, snow showers are expected in northwestern Oklahoma during the afternoon and early evening hours. Jonathan says the bulk of the accumulating snow will be scattered but earlier in the day.
