A driver was killed after failing to stop for another vehicle on Tuesday near Shawnee.

At around 12:30 p.m., Diana Srader, a 78-year-old from Prague, was traveling eastbound on Interstate 40 to US-177 when she failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by another vehicle. Srader was trapped for approximately 14 minutes before being extricated by the Shawnee Fire Department, according to a report by Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Srader was transported to OU Health in Oklahoma City, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to OU Health by ambulance in good condition, according to OHP.
Srader was wearing her seatbelt, and airbags deployed in both vehicles.
