Jason Burger reports for KOCO 5 News weekdays. He’s thrilled to be back in Oklahoma City after interning with KOCO 5 during college. He’s a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, majoring in Digital Media Arts with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. He realized he wanted to be a reporter after he interviewed a Vietnam veteran from Oklahoma that survived 1000 missions as a helicopter pilot overseas.

After graduating OBU, Jason worked as a Reporter and Weekend Anchor for KKCO 11 News in Grand Junction Colorado. He then moved to Billings Montana, where he was the Statewide Weekend Anchor and Weeknight Reporter for KULR-8 News.

But don’t let all that time out west fool you, Jason has been in and out of Oklahoma his whole life seeing his family, and is back home in the Sooner State.
