THIS EVENING? WELL, GUYS, POLICE WERE ABLE TO TRACK DOWN A PERSON OF INTEREST, BUT SWAT TEAMS WERE CALLED IN AND POLICE EVEN BLOCKED THIS ROAD RIGHT HERE. AFTER THE VICTIM WAS SHOT SEVERAL TIMES. SOMEONE IS ON THE LOOSE AND IT’S LIKE RIGHT HERE BY MY HOUSE. SO I WAS LIKE, WHEN ASHLEY RETURNED HOME THIS AFTERNOON, SHE WAS MET BY AN OFFICER AS TWISTED OAK DRIVE WAS FULL OF LAW ENFORCEMENT, AND HE JUST TOLD US TO GO IN THE HOUSE AND SHUT AND LOCK THE DOORS. THAT IT’S AN ACTIVE SITUATION. THE KIDS IN HER CAR DIDN’T WASTE TIME, AND WE JUST TOLD THEM, LIKE, RUN IN THE HOUSE, LIKE JUST GO. BUT THEN SHE WONDERED HOW HER DAUGHTER WOULD GET HOME FROM SCHOOL. HER BUS STOP IS RIGHT WHERE THE POLICE WERE CUTTING PEOPLE OFF. LIKE HAD THE ROAD BLOCKED OFF. NORMAN POLICE SAY THERE WAS A SEARCH FOR A SUSPECT THIS AFTERNOON AFTER A SHOOTING HERE ON TWISTED OAK DRIVE. THE CONDITION OF THE VICTIM IS NOT KNOWN RIGHT NOW, BUT THEY WERE SHOT MULTIPLE TIMES. WE SPENT THE LAST SEVERAL HOURS WORKING TO LOCATE THAT INDIVIDUAL AND CURRENTLY HAVE ONE PERSON OF INTEREST DETAINED. POLICE DON’T KNOW WHAT STARTED ALL THIS YET, BUT WE’RE TOLD THE SUSPECT FLED THE SCENE OF THE SHOOTING. AND THAT’S WHEN THE SEARCH EFFORT STARTED. WE WERE PRETTY QUICKLY ABLE TO OBTAIN SOME SUSPECT DESCRIPTIONS FROM POTENTIAL WITNESSES OR PEOPLE IN THE AREA THAT SAW THAT INDIVIDUAL LEAVING THE AREA. NOW, TONIGHT, WE HAVE NOT HEARD YET IF AN OFFICIAL ARRE
