The Oklahoma City Police Department gave a helping hand to a student whose bicycle needed repair.
The police department's Youth Enrichment Services Unit learned that a student at Webster Middle School had a bike that needed to be repaired. Officers contacted Al's bicycles and Target, and they stepped in to help.
Not only did they fix the broken bicycle to hand down to the student's sibling, but they also provided a brand-new one for her.
MSgt. Travis Hinton recently delivered the bike to the student, who had a big smile on her face in the picture police posted to social media.
