ROUTE. THIS IS NEW AT 10:00 THE LABOR DAY WEEKEND ALREADY TURNING DEADLY ON THE WATER. TROOPERS TELLING US ABOUT TWO SEPARATE DROWNINGS TODAY. THE FIRST THIS AFTERNOON AT A SWIM BEACH AT FORT GIBSON LAKE. A 70 YEAR OLD MAN WAS SWIMMING WITH HIS WIFE. HIS WIFE SAID THAT HE STARTED ACTING STRANGELY, POINTED AT HIS CHEST. THAT’S WHEN HE LOST CONSCIOUSNESS AND WENT UNDER THE WATER. AND THEN AT ABOUT 5:00 TODAY, NEAR DUCK ISLAND ON LAKE TEXOMA. A 41 YEAR OLD WOMAN WAS REPORTEDLY FLOATING ON HER BACK, 20FT OFF SHORE. Gibson Lake when his wife said he had an odd look on his face while swimming to a nearby island. After asking if he was OK, Ramirez-Anaya did not say anything but made a motion around his chest, troopers said.He shortly went underwater, and his wife attempted to hold him up when two people came and assisted. The Taylor’s Ferry Fire Department launched a boat and recovered his body, troopers said.>> Download the KOCO 5 AppAt about 4:50 p.m. Friday at Lake Texoma, the patrol reported Allyson Byron, 41, was floating on her back, about 20 feet from the shore and went underwater and did not resurface.
