THE APP IS FREE TO DOWNLOAD ON ANY SMART DEVICE. WELL, BREAKING NEWS JUST COMING INTO THE NEWSROOM HERE AT NINE. THIS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW NEAR SOUTHEAST 59TH AND I-35 KOCO IS AUDREY GOODSON. SHE’S LIVE THERE NOW IN AUDREY. WHAT HAVE OFFICERS TOLD YOU SO FAR? WHAT’S HAPPENING HERE? WELL, KYLIE AND ALEJANDRA, I HAVE JUST TALKED TO OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE OFFICERS WITHIN THE LAST TEN MINUTES, AND THEY TELL ME ONE PERSON IS HURT AFTER BEING HIT IN THE CHEEK WITH A BULLET. NOW COME WITH ME AND LET ME SHOW YOU. YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE BULLET HOLES THAT ARE IN THIS CAR RIGHT NOW. I’M GOING TO HAVE MY PHOTOGRAPHER ZOOM IN ON THAT, BUT YOU CAN SEE THAT THIS IS A VERY ACTIVE SCENE GOING ON RIGHT NOW, AS POLICE ARE TRYING TO PIECE TOGETHER EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED. NOW, POLICE SAY THIS IS NOT WHERE THE SHOOTING INITIALLY HAPPENED. THEY SAY THE SHOOTING HAPPENED JUST DOWN THE ROAD NEAR SOUTHEAST 59TH AND HIGH, AND THAT VICTIM DROVE THEMSELF HERE TO THIS PARKING LOT. WHEN OFFICERS GOT HERE, THEY SAY THEY FOUND EVIDENCE OF A CRIME SCENE AND WE’RE TOLD THAT THAT PERSON HAD BEEN TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL. HE DOES HAVE INJURIES TO HIS FACE AND HEAD AREA, TO THE EXTENT AND DETAIL OF WHAT THOSE ARE. I DON’T HAVE THAT INFORMATION RIGHT NOW. I DO KNOW THAT IT’S NON-LIFE THREATENING RIGHT NOW WE ONLY HAVE ONE ONE KNOWN VICTIM AND IT SOUNDS LIKE HE WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE CAR. NOW OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE SAY THAT THANKFULLY, THAT PERSON IS EXPECTED TO BE OKAY. WE KNOW THAT THEY ARE AWAKE AND THEY ARE TALKING TO OFFICERS, BUT RIGHT NOW THEY DON’T HAVE ANY SUSPECT INFORMATION. BUT THEY DO BELIEVE THAT ONLY ONE PERSON WAS INVOLVED IN THIS. WE’RE GOING TO KEEP YOU UPDATED AS WE LEARN MORE FROM OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE HERE IN THE NEXT FEW MINUTES. IN OKLAHOMA CITY, AUDREY GOODSON, KOCO FIVE NEWS. I THOUGHT IT WAS THE COFFEE DISTRIBUTOR NEXT DOOR TO US, SO I DIDN’T THINK ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THEN I LOOK UP AND I SEE A MOTORHOME DRIVING THROUGH OUR PARKING LOT ARE ALL NEW HERE AT NINE, WE HEAR FROM AN EMPLOYEE AT CAMPING WORLD AFTER HE CALLED POLICE TO REPORT A STOLEN MOBILE HOME. HE ASKED TO HIDE HIS IDENTITY AFTER MAKING EYE CONTACT WITH THE SUSPECT, AND THAT RV LED POLICE ON A CHASE ON THE BROADWAY EXTENSION BEFORE CRASHING AT CITY PARK HERE IN OKLAHOMA CITY, CAMERON SIBERT WAS THERE AS FIRST RESPONDERS SECURED THE SCENE AND TOW TRUCKS LIFTED THAT RV OUT OF A DITCH AND HAS THE LATEST. YEAH. AS YOU CAN SEE HOURS LATER, THE MISSION NOW IS GETTING THE RV OUT OF THE DITCH. IT’S VERY NEARLY THERE. THESE TOW TRUCK WORKERS HAVE BEEN HARD AT WORK TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET THIS MASSIVE VEHICLE OUT OF THIS DRAINAGE DITCH. THIS IS ALL THE RESULTS OF A POLICE CHASE THIS MORNING WITH OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE. THIS RV WAS STOLEN FROM CAMPING WORLD ON BROADWAY EXTENSION, EVENTUALLY CRASHING HERE AT SMITTY PARK IN OKLAHOMA CITY. THAT CHASE, STARTING AROUND 5:00 THIS MORNING. AND AS YOU CAN SEE, THE TOW TRUCK JUST NOW GETTING OUT OF THIS DRAINAGE DITCH AFTER A LONG EFFORT FROM THESE TOW TRUCK DRIVERS, THE SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED HERE AT THE SCENE AFTER TRYING TO RUN AWAY FROM POLICE. ONE PERSON NOW IN CUSTODY AFTER STEALING THIS RV FROM CAMPING WORLD AND LEADING OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE ON A CHASE. WE DID GET A CHANCE TO TALK TO ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES WHO WORKS AT CAMPING WORLD AND SAW THE RV AS IT WAS BEING STOLEN. THEN I SEE THE MOTORHOME DRIVING SOUTH ON BROADWAY, TOOK A FEW PHOTOS OF IT, THOUGHT BETTER OF IT. I BETTER CALL THE POLICE AND I GUESS LUCKILY I DID BECAUSE IT WAS A STOLEN VEHICLE. SO WE TAKE YOU BACK TO THE SCENE. YOU CAN SEE THE RV HAS NOW BEEN TAKEN OUT OF THE DRAINAGE DITCH. A SUSPECT IS IN CUSTODY. SO NOW AT THIS POINT, THE RV EMPLOYEE TELLS US THEY’RE NOW GOING TO HAVE TO GET THIS RV BACK TO THEIR SHOP TO SEE IF IT’S AT ALL SALVAGEABLE. BUT AGAIN, OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE TELLING US THAT ONE PERSON WAS ARRESTED AS A RESULT OF THE CHASE THIS MORNING. WE’LL LET YOU KNOW AS WE GET NEW INFORMATION ON THIS STORY.
