IN OKLAHOMA CITY, AUDREY GOODSON, KOCO FIVE NEWS. I THOUGHT IT WAS THE COFFEE DISTRIBUTOR NEXT DOOR TO US, SO I DIDN’T THINK ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THEN I LOOK UP AND I SEE A MOTORHOME DRIVING THROUGH OUR PARKING LOT ARE ALL NEW HERE AT NINE, WE HEAR FROM AN EMPLOYEE AT CAMPING WORLD AFTER HE CALLED POLICE TO REPORT A STOLEN MOBILE HOME. HE ASKED TO HIDE HIS IDENTITY AFTER MAKING EYE CONTACT WITH THE SUSPECT, AND THAT RV LED POLICE ON A CHASE ON THE BROADWAY EXTENSION BEFORE CRASHING AT CITY PARK HERE IN OKLAHOMA CITY, CAMERON SIBERT WAS THERE AS FIRST RESPONDERS SECURED THE SCENE AND TOW TRUCKS LIFTED THAT RV OUT OF A DITCH AND HAS THE LATEST. YEAH. AS YOU CAN SEE HOURS LATER, THE MISSION NOW IS GETTING THE RV OUT OF THE DITCH. IT’S VERY NEARLY THERE. THESE TOW TRUCK WORKERS HAVE BEEN HARD AT WORK TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET THIS MASSIVE VEHICLE OUT OF THIS DRAINAGE DITCH. THIS IS ALL THE RESULTS OF A POLICE CHASE THIS MORNING WITH OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE. THIS RV WAS STOLEN FROM CAMPING WORLD ON BROADWAY EXTENSION, EVENTUALLY CRASHING HERE AT SMITTY PARK IN OKLAHOMA CITY. THAT CHASE, STARTING AROUND 5:00 THIS MORNING. AND AS YOU CAN SEE, THE TOW TRUCK JUST NOW GETTING OUT OF THIS DRAINAGE DITCH AFTER A LONG EFFORT FROM THESE TOW TRUCK DRIVERS, THE SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED HERE AT THE SCENE AFTER TRYING TO RUN AWAY FROM POLICE. ONE PERSON NOW IN CUSTODY AFTER STEALING THIS RV FROM CAMPING WORLD AND LEADING OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE ON A CHASE. WE DID GET A CHANCE TO TALK TO ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES WHO WORKS AT CAMPING WORLD AND SAW THE RV AS IT WAS BEING STOLEN. THEN I SEE THE MOTORHOME DRIVING SOUTH ON BROADWAY, TOOK A FEW PHOTOS OF IT, THOUGHT BETTER OF IT. I BETTER CALL THE POLICE AND I GUESS LUCKILY I DID BECAUSE IT WAS A STOLEN VEHICLE. SO WE TAKE YOU BACK TO THE SCENE. YOU CAN SEE THE RV HAS NOW BEEN TAKEN OUT OF THE DRAINAGE DITCH. A SUSPECT IS IN CUSTODY. SO NOW AT THIS POINT, THE RV EMPLOYEE TELLS US THEY’RE NOW GOING TO HAVE TO GET THIS RV BACK TO THEIR SHOP TO SEE IF IT’S AT ALL SALVAGEABLE. BUT AGAIN, OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE TELLING US THAT ONE PERSON WAS ARRESTED AS A RESULT OF THE CHASE THIS MORNING. WE’LL LET YOU KNOW AS WE GET NE
