The Military Order of the Purple Heart honored UCO with the designation for its service to military-connected students, faculty and staff. To get the designation, universities must develop plans to support those who are affiliated with the military.
University President Todd Lamb issued a statement saying, "We are grateful to our military-connected students, faculty and staff for their service and sacrifice and are honored to help them as they pursue their next steps.
