A person died in a hospital after crashing a motorcycle in Oklahoma City on Friday night.

The person crashed after dozens of motorcycles were involved in a short chase with Oklahoma City police officers near Southwest 32nd Street and Western Avenue. The biker was taken to the hospital in "very critical condition," according to police.
Police confirmed Sunday that the biker died as a result of those injuries. Authorities have not yet released the person's identity.
During the incident Friday, nearly 100 motorcyclists were evading officers after police received several calls about them. Police said they called off the chase because the bikers were driving too recklessly.
At least one other person was arrested in the incident.
