TOO GOOD FOR OKLAHOMA. WHAT’S THE LATEST OUT? YEAH, YOU KNOW, IT’S NOT I KNOW SO MANY PEOPLE WANT TO WAKE UP TO A WHITE CHRISTMAS, MYSELF INCLUDED. BUT WHEN WE TAKE A LOOK AT CLIMATOLOGY, IT SAYS PROBABLY NOT THE CHRISTMAS EVE BLIZZARD OF 2009. IF YOU LIVED IN OKLAHOMA, THEN YOU REMEMBER IT, 14IN OF SNOW ON THE 24TH, LEAVING A WINTER WONDERLAND FOR CHRISTMAS DAY. BUT THE CHANCES OF THAT DAY HAPPENING AGAIN ARE PRETTY RARE. THERE HAVE ONLY BEEN 11 CHRISTMAS DAYS WHEN SNOW FELL IN OKLAHOMA CITY, THE MOST RECENT CHRISTMAS WAS IN 2012, WITH JUST OVER HALF AN INCH OF SNOW. AND THERE WERE 12 CHRISTMAS DAYS WITH SNOW ON THE GROUND ON CHRISTMAS MORNING IN THE LAST 133 YEARS. SO OUR CHANCES OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR CLEARLY AREN’T LOOKING THAT GREAT. WE’RE TALKING ABOUT CLIMATOLOGY HERE, NOT THE WEATHER FORECAST. LET’S LOOK AT THE CHANCES ACROSS ALL OF OKLAHOMA FOR AT LEAST ONE INCH OF SNOW ON THE GROUND FOR CHRISTMAS, THERE’S AN 8% CHANCE OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS IN OKLAHOMA CITY. 11% CHANCE FARTHER NORTH IN NEWKIRK AND REALLY NOT LOOKING THAT GOOD FOR ARDMORE WITH 3%. SO IF YOU’RE DREAMING OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS IN OKLAHOMA, I’D SAY KEEP DREAMING OR HEAD TO THE NORTHERN US WHERE THEY HAVE CLOSER TO AN 80% CHANCE. SO LIKE THE SAYING GOES, THERE’S A CHANCE, JUST NOT A VERY GOOD ONE HERE IN OKLAHOMA. LIKE I SAID, THAT’S THE
