Pari Limbachia said her family was in a neighborhood when she and her children spotted a bear snacking on candy that had been left out for trick-or-treaters.

It was a scary moment for customers at a restaurant when a deer crashed through the window last week at a Noodles and Company restaurant, prompting diners to scatter.
Surveillance video shows the buck running through the dining area and customers fleeing for the exits.
Man driving forklift arrested after slow-speed chase through neighborhood
An overnight slow-speed chase involving a man driving a forklift through a Sacramento neighborhood and onto a bike trail ended with the man's arrest early Monday.
The situation unfolded just before midnight when officers saw a forklift driving down a main road in Sacramento, police said.
Officers tried to make a traffic stop, but the forklift driver continued along the road, police said.
Missing dog found safe after being gone for nearly 5 months
An Iowa dog that had been missing since June was found safe over the weekend.
Molly was reported missing on June 15 after running through the open door of her groomer, Rose Shoemaker, of Spitfire Farms in Anita, Iowa.
Molly had been spotted several times since June but had not been caught until Sunday when one of the farm workers bumped into Molly on a combine. She was microchipped, but did not have a collar.
Dog alerts family to teen having stroke
A family in Texas was thrilled to adopt a border collie named Axel from an animal rescue.
And after the dog alerted Amanda Tanner and her husband that their son, Gabriel, was having a stroke, they believe the 1-year-old dog was meant to be a part of the family.
