MAIN GATE. WELL, GUYS, THE STATE FAIR HAS UP TO 800 CAMERAS LIKE THESE. THEY SAY AFTER REVIEWING SECURITY FOOTAGE, THEY DON’T THINK THAT SUSPECT CAME IN THROUGH A MAIN GATE, THROUGH THE DETECTOR WITH A GUN. WE DON’T KNOW HOW HE GOT IN. WE KNOW WHERE HE DIDN’T GET IN AND HE DIDN’T GET INTO ANY OF THE MAIN GATES AT. CHAOS ERUPTED AT THE OKLAHOMA STATE FAIR SATURDAY NIGHT WHEN A 17 YEAR OLD SHOT SOMEONE IN THE BENNETT EVENT CENTER, SENDING THEM TO THE HOSPITAL. ALL EVERYBODY IN THAT BUILDING WAS SCRAMBLING. THEY WERE RUNNING INTO THE BATHROOMS. THEY WERE RUNNING OUT THE DOORS. THERE WAS SOME PANIC AND CONCERN ON THE PUBLIC’S PART, AND IT’S UNDERSTANDABLE. WE JUST TOOK OFF RUNNING LIKE WE ALL HAD TO, LIKE, FIND LIKE A LITTLE SIDE GATE AREA AND LIKE, LEAVE OUT THAT WAY. AND THEN WE HAD TO, LIKE, RUN ALL THE WAY AROUND. ACCORDING TO THE POLICE REPORT OBTAINED BY KOCO MONDAY, THE VICTIM AND SUSPECT WERE STRANGERS, AND THE SHOOTING MAY HAVE BEEN GANG RELATED. OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE WERE ABLE TO FIND THAT SUSPECT A SHORT TIME LATER. BUT THE QUESTION STILL REMAINS HOW THAT 17 YEAR OLD WAS ABLE TO BRING A GUN INTO THE FAIR. WE KNOW HE DIDN’T COME THROUGH ANY OF THE MAIN GATES WITH THE HIGH DENSITY METAL DETECTORS IN PLACE. THESE ARE HIGH DENSITY METAL DETECTORS THAT ARE USED IN HIGH VOLUME SITUATIONS. THESE ARE NOT LIKE THE METAL DETECTORS THAT THE PAYCOM CENTER. THEY’RE NOT LIKE THE METAL DETECTORS THAT TSA USES. NOW THEY’RE SEARCHING THROUGH HOURS OF SECURITY FOOTAGE SURROUNDING THE PROPERTY TO PIECE TOGETHER HOW THAT GUN WAS BROUGHT IN. AND THE STATE FAIR TELLS ME EVERY YEAR THEY DO A REPORT ON HOW SUCCESSFUL THE FAIR IS. AN
