After one person was shot at the Oklahoma State Fair on Saturday night, witnesses leaving the fairgrounds described the chaotic scene inside.

"We were about to get some fried Oreos then we see people running," said one witness.
Fair visitors were evacuated, and many drivers struggled to leave the area as traffic backed up following the incident. Those drivers spoke to KOCO as they attempted to leave the fairgrounds.
"Yelling, scattering, running," said another witness. "'They're shooting They're shooting. They're shooting!' Kids crying around the shots. It was just crazy."
The Oklahoma City Police Department confirmed one person was shot and was in critical condition. Police said two people were taken into custody.

"We heard it. We were in the building, but we couldn't tell what it really was. We couldn't tell you, but we all ran and were all out and that's all that matters. Never will come back though," said a witness while leaving the fair.
