Considered the city’s 31st homicide of the year, police said Isabel Espinoza, 27, was found shot on May 21. Just after 11:25 p.m., Oklahoma City police responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex in the 5500 block of South Sunnylane Road.
At the scene, officers found Espinoza wounded, and she was rushed to a local hospital, where she later died. Police have not reported any arrests in connection with the fatal shooting.
Days later, officers were called out to another shooting that claimed the life of 39-year-old Joshua Goulsby.
At 10:30 p.m. on May 26, officers responded to a shooting call at a home in the 1400 block of Westwood Boulevard. At the scene, officers located Goulsby’s body on the front porch of the home. Police have also not announced any suspect information or arrests in connection with his death.
The following day, police officials said they found Jamie Hayden, 36, dead.
Just after 5 p.m. on May 27, officers responding to a check welfare call arrived at a home in the 4700 block of Shallow Brook Drive. Inside the home, officers found Hayden, who had been stabbed to death.
Investigators later learned information that led them to arrest Telly Lee Craig in connection to Hayden’s death. He was charged in June in Oklahoma County on one count of first-degree murder. His bond was set at $10 million, court records show.
At 6:15 p.m. on Aug. 26, Oklahoma City officers responded to the 800 block of East Drive after receiving reports of a body inside a vehicle.
Investigators learned that Gavin Robertson, 42, and Jessica Yeahquo, 32, had been in an argument earlier in the day near the 3000 block on South Interstate 35 Service Road. At some point during the argument, Yeahquo allegedly struck Robertson with a vehicle.
Police said Robertson was not taken to a hospital and later died in the vehicle. Yeahquo was arrested in connection with his death.
Court records show she was charged on Friday in Oklahoma County on one count of first-degree manslaughter. Her bond was set at $5 million.
Robertson’s death is considered the 63rd homicide in Oklahoma City this year.
