Below is what you need to know to view your sample ballot ahead of the Nov. 5 general election.
Before casting your vote in November's general election, you'll want to take a look at your sample ballot to see what you're deciding on.
Not every sample ballot is the same, as some cities, counties and municipalities will have different bond initiatives and elections up for a vote on Nov. 5. Below is what you need to know to view your sample ballot.
To find your sample ballot, you'll need to log in to the Oklahoma Voter Portal. To log in, you'll need to provide your first and last name, as well as your date of birth.
Once you're logged in, you can view your sample ballot in one of two ways.
First, you can click on the "Sample Ballot" box under the "Voter Information" heading. The "Sample Ballot" box will contain a number showing how many sample ballots you have. When you click on the box, it'll take you down to your sample ballot.
The second way to find your sample ballot is to scroll down to the "Upcoming Elections and Sample Ballot" heading once you log in to the Oklahoma Voter Portal.
Once you find the sample ballot option, you can click on it to get a closer look at what you can vote for in the upcoming election. The ballot will have a large "sample ballot" watermark on it, so it cannot be used to cast an actual vote.
