AND, SHELBY, YOU SPOKE TO NEIGHBORS WHO HEARD ALL OF THIS. GOOD MORNING. YES, I SPOKE TO SEVERAL NEIGHBORS WHO SAY THEY HEARD THE CRASH, CAME OUTSIDE AND SAW THOSE TWO SUSPECTS RUNNING FROM THE CAR. NOW, THIS IS THAT AREA WHERE THAT SUSPECT DID CRASH HIS CAR RIGHT INTO THAT TREE ON THE CORNER THERE YOU CAN SEE SOME OF THE BARK THAT’S MISSING. IT CAME TO A STOP RIGHT OVER HERE. YOU CAN SEE THE SCRAPES ON THE ROADWAY. NOW, OFFICIALS DID JUST CLEAR THAT CAR FROM THE SCENE ABOUT 30 MINUTES AGO. SO TAKE A LOOK. THAT CAR DID HAVE SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE. THE FIRST CRASH HAPPENED A FEW BLOCKS AWAY ON SOUTHWEST 44TH AND SHARTEL. WHEN THE SUSPECT CRASHED INTO A CAR BEFORE CONTINUING TO DRIVE. THEN HE HIT THAT TREE INSIDE OF THAT CAR, A TEEN GIRL ON HER WAY TO SCHOOL. I SPOKE TO HER MOM AND BROTHER WHO WERE STILL ON SCENE. THE DAUGHTER TOO SHAKEN UP TO TALK ON CAMERA. YES, I WAS AT WORK AND SHE CALLED ME MOM. THEY CRASHED INTO ME AND I WAS LIKE, I THOUGHT IT WAS SOMETHING SMALL, BUT SHE WAS CRYING AND I WAS LIKE, WHAT HAPPENED? SHE’S LIKE, THEY CRASHED INTO ME. Police say they are searching for a suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash before colliding with a tree Tuesday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.>> Get the latest news stories of interest by clicking here. According to police, a suspect hit a car near Southwest 44th Street and Shartel Avenue. The driver then continued on Shartel Avenue before hitting a tree and crashing out.Two people in the car ran from the scene, and police found an injured passenger shortly afterward. Police said one person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. A mother of a girl whose car was crashed into told KOCO 5 that her daughter was on her way to school when she was hit. She called her mom for help, and she's OK but just shaken up. "I thought it was something small. And now that I see her car, I was like 'Oh my God.'
