LIVE AND COLBY. WITNESSES SAY SHE WAS ATTACKED. ACCORDING TO POLICE, THE WOMAN HONKED HER HORN HER HORN AT A DRIVER WHO WAS GOING STRAIGHT IN A TURN LANE. THEN WHEN SHE GOT OUT OF HER CAR AT PENN SQUARE MALL THAT SAME DRIVER GRABBED HER BY THE NECK AND SLAMMED HER INTO THE ROOF OF HER CAR. THE ASSAULT TOOK PLACE AS SOON AS THE VICTIM GOT OUT OF THEIR VEHICLE JUST OUTSIDE THIS MACY’S AT PENN SQUARE MALL. ONE WOMAN’S AFTERNOON TOOK A TURN ON SUNDAY. TURNS OUT THE VICTIM IN THIS CASE WAS IN A CONFRONTATION ON THE ROADWAY WITH ANOTHER DRIVER. THE VICTIM SAYS HER AND ANOTHER DRIVER WERE IN TWO RIGHT TURN LANES WHEN THAT DRIVER WENT STRAIGHT. INSTEAD, SHE REACTED BY HONKING HER HORN. THAT OTHER DRIVER FOLLOWED THE VICTIM INTO THAT PARKING LOT, AND AS THE VICTIM EXITED THEIR CAR, THE SUSPECT EXITED THEIR CAR. ALSO, MULTIPLE WITNESSES ON SCENE SHARED HOW THE MAN THEN GRABBED THE WOMAN BY THE NECK AND SLAMMED HER INTO THE ROOF OF THE CAR. SHE WAS HURT BUT DIDN’T HAVE TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL. THE SUSPECT SIMPLY GOT IN THEIR VEHICLE AND DROVE AWAY. POLICE WARN THAT NO MATTER HOW ANGRY YOU GET ON THE ROAD, NO CONFRONTATION ON THE ROADWAY IS AN EXCUSE FOR A RESULT IN VIOLENCE LIKE THIS. POLICE SAY THEY’RE STILL INVESTIGATING THE CASE AND HAVEN’T MADE A

Dillon Quirk with the Oklahoma City Police Department said. Just outside Macy’s at Penn Square Mall, a woman’s Sunday afternoon took a violent turn."Turns out the victim in this case was in a confrontation on the roadway with another driver," Quirk said.The victim told police she and another driver were in two right-only turn lanes when the other driver went straight instead. She reacted by honking her horn."That other driver followed the victim into that parking lot, and as the victim exited their car, the suspect exited their car also," Quirk said.Get the latest news stories of interest by clicking here.Multiple witnesses at the scene reported that the man then grabbed the woman by the neck and slammed her into the roof of her car. "The assault took place as soon as the victim got out of their vehicle," Sgt. Dillon Quirk with the Oklahoma City Police Department said.

Just outside Macy’s at Penn Square Mall, a woman’s Sunday afternoon took a violent turn.
