Oklahoma City police are investigating an alleged road rage incident at Penn Square Mall, where a woman was attacked after honking at another driver.>> Download the KOCO 5 App"The assault took place as soon as the victim got out of their vehicle," Sgt. Dillon Quirk with the Oklahoma City Police Department said. Just outside Macy’s at Penn Square Mall, a woman’s Sunday afternoon took a violent turn."Turns out the victim in this case was in a confrontation on the roadway with another driver," Quirk said.The victim told police she and another driver were in two right-only turn lanes when the other driver went straight instead. She reacted by honking her horn."That other driver followed the victim into that parking lot, and as the victim exited their car, the suspect exited their car also," Quirk said.Get the latest news stories of interest by clicking here.Multiple witnesses at the scene reported that the man then grabbed the woman by the neck and slammed her into the roof of her car.
