Police said fire departments and law enforcement are working the fire at the warehouse off Interstate 35. They have asked people to avoid the area while crews work to control the flames, and travelers are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
The Love County Sheriff's Office said people traveling on I-35 should remain cautious near Marietta as smoke is blowing directly across the highway. They say if it gets too bad, deputies will shut down the interstate and divert traffic to Highway 77.
