Earning the top mullet in the country also comes with a $5,000 prize for children and adults and $1,000 for the teenager contest. Winners also will receive a custom championship belt and a GoPro HERO12 Black Action camera. On top of finding the top mullet in the country, the competition also raises money to help military veterans.While casting votes, people can make donations to Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors, a program that provides critically wounded combat veterans with the opportunity to live comfortably and independently in adapted homes.
