YEAH, WELL, I CAN TELL YOU RIGHT NOW THERE’S A TEENAGE GUNSHOT VICTIM INSIDE THE HOSPITAL RECEIVING TREATMENT. WHAT? YOU CAN ALSO SEE BEHIND US RIGHT NOW IS A TOW TRUCK THAT JUST GOT HERE TO THE HOSPITAL, GETTING READY TO TOW AWAY THIS BLACK SEDAN. THAT’S ACTUALLY THE VICTIM’S AUNT’S CAR THAT SHE DROVE HIM TO THE HOSPITAL IN. POLICE ARE ALSO INVESTIGATING AT A SEPARATE SCENE WHERE THE VICTIM’S CAR WAS FOUND. WE WE KNOW RIGHT NOW THAT POLICE RESPONDED TO THIS AFTER THAT VICTIM GOT INTO A CAR WITH A SUSPECT WHO PULLED A GUN, SHOT. THE VICTIM TRIED TO STEAL THE CAR AND EVENTUALLY RAN AWAY WHILE POLICE WERE HERE AT THIS SCENE, THEY HEARD GUNSHOTS FROM NOT FAR FROM THE HOSPITAL, JUST ACROSS THE STREET. ACTUALLY OVER AT 43RD. THEY ENDED UP SHOWING UP TO THE HOUSE A SUSPECT CAME OUTSIDE. THEY ARRESTED ONE PERSON FROM THAT SEPARATE SCENE. SO TWO SEPARATE SHOOTINGS THAT HAVE BEEN UNDER INVESTIGATION. THIS MORNING. AGAIN, RIGHT NOW AT THE HOSPITAL, THAT TEENAGE GUNSHOT VICTIM IS STILL GETTING TREATMENT. WE CONTINUE TO TALK TO POLICE. THEY’RE NOW IMPOUNDING THIS VEHICLE, GATHERING SOME EVIDENCE FROM TWO SEPARATE SHOOTINGS THAT HAVE TAKEN PLACE HERE THIS MORNING. WE’RE GOING TO CONTINUE TO FOLLOW UP WITH OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE. According to police, a juvenile victim met a suspect on social media and was "hanging out driving around with them" when they say the suspect pulled out a gun and tried to steal the car. The suspect then shot the victim, got out of the car and ran away.The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.While investigating at the hospital, police heard gunshots coming from a home across the street along Southwest 43rd Street near Douglas Avenue.
