A man was taken to a hospital and underwent surgery Monday after being shot in southwest Oklahoma City. At around 6:30 p.m., the Oklahoma City Police Department responded to a Family Dollar in the area of Southwest 13th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. A man was sitting behind the store when another man approached him on a bike. The two then got into a fight, and the man on a bike pulled out a gun and fired one shot, according to police. The man initially sitting behind the store was shot in the hip. Police said there were no witnesses in the area.
