A man was taken to a hospital and underwent surgery Monday after being shot in southwest Oklahoma City.
At around 6:30 p.m., the Oklahoma City Police Department responded to a Family Dollar in the area of Southwest 13th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.
A man was sitting behind the store when another man approached him on a bike. The two then got into a fight, and the man on a bike pulled out a gun and fired one shot, according to police.
The man initially sitting behind the store was shot in the hip. The man on the bike fled the scene, and he has not been located.
The victim was transported to a hospital, where he underwent surgery. His condition was unknown.
Police said there were no witnesses in the area.
