RIGHT NOW, OFFICERS HERE AT POLICE HEADQUARTERS ARE INVESTIGATING, WONDERING WHAT MIGHT HAVE LED UP TO THIS DEADLY STABBING. RIGHT NOW, OFFICERS SAY THEY BELIEVE THIS STARTED AS AN INCIDENT BETWEEN A WOMAN AND HER WIFE. WHEN THEY GOT TO THE HOUSE, ONE OF THE WOMEN HAD A STAB WOUND TO HER CHEST. THAT WOMAN WAS RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL WHERE SHE LATER DIED. UM, HER SPOUSE IS IN CUSTODY AT THIS TIME. IT APPEARS TO BE DOMESTIC RELATED AT THIS TIME, BUT HOMICIDE INVESTIGATORS ARE HERE ON THE SCENE. THEIR INVESTIGATION HAS BEGUN, AND. POLICE HAVE NOT TOLD US THE AGE OR THE NAME OF THAT VICTIM. Around 9:30 p.m., police responded to a call in a neighborhood near Wilshire Boulevard and Kelley Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a woman with a stab wound to the chest.
She was taken to a hospital, where police said she died.
