AS THEY NOW SEARCH FOR THEIR BELONGINGS. THIS IS THE SPOT WHERE DAN BRISSETTE SAYS HIS TRAILER AND TRUCK WERE SITTING BEFORE THEY WERE STOLEN. HE AND HIS WIFE HAD TO FINISH THEIR MOVE TO ARKANSAS IN HER CAR WITH JUST THEIR SUITCASES LEFT. WE TOOK OUR OVERNIGHT BAGS OUT OF HER CAR. WE LOCKED UP THE TRUCK AND THE CAR AND WE WENT AND SPENT THE NIGHT. CAME OUT THE NEXT MORNING AND THE TRUCK AND TRAILER WERE GONE. ON JANUARY 11TH, DAN BRISSETTE AND HIS WIFE LOST NEARLY EVERYTHING ON THE WAY TO THEIR NEW HOME IN ARKANSAS. IT’S OVERWHELMING. IT’S HARD TO BELIEVE THAT SOMEBODY YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW COULD DO THIS TO YOU. THEY STOPPED HERE IN OKC WHERE HIS TRUCK AND A TRAILER FULL OF THIS MOTORCYCLE AND ALL OF THEIR PERSONAL ITEMS WAS TAKEN. I HAD, UH, PAINTINGS THAT MY MOTHER HAD DONE IN 1940. THERE WAS FAMILY ALBUMS THERE WAS, UH, THINGS THAT YOU CAN’T REPLACE. THERE WAS STUFF THAT THAT IS, YOU KNOW, IT WAS WORTHLESS TO ANYBODY BUT US. AND, UH, IT JUST BREAKS YOUR HEART THAT SOMEBODY COULD DO THIS TO YOU. A POLICE REPORT MENTIONED GLASS FROM THE WINDSHIELD WAS ON THE GROUND. BUT. BUT VIDEO EVIDENCE WAS HARD TO COME BY TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, INSIDE THE TRAILER, ALL THEIR ID, EVERY PERSONAL DOCUMENT THAT WE OWN WAS IN THAT TRAILER. WE HAD TO PUT A FREEZE ON OUR BANK ACCOUNTS. WE HAD TO CANCEL CHECKING ACCOUNTS. WE HAD TO HIRE A COMPANY TO PROTECT OUR CREDIT AND, UH, IT’S A NIGHTMARE. SO THEY’RE ASKING PEOPLE IN OKLAHOMA CITY TO BE ON THE LOOKOUT. I JUST PRAY THAT SOMEBODY WILL SPOT THIS TRUCK AND TRAILER
