FIREFIGHTERS PUT IT OUT QUICKLY AND NO ONE WAS HURT. HAPPENING TODAY, WE DO EXPECT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT A DEADLY SHOOTING IN SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY. POLICE WERE CALLED TO AN APARTMENT ON SOUTHWEST 25TH BETWEEN BROADWAY AND SHIELDS YESTERDAY AFTERNOON TO FIND A WOMAN LYING ON THE GROUND OUTSIDE DEAD FROM AN APPARENT GUNSHOT WOUND. AUTHORITIES HAVE NOT YET IDENTIFIED THE VICTIM AND ARE SPEAKING WITH POTENTIAL WITNESSES TO LEARN MORE. WE’RE NOT SURE THERE WERE SEVERAL WITNESSES AROUND AND WE WERE LOOKING FOR SOME WITNESSES. THERE WERE SOME PEOPLE ON BICYCLES. SO WE’RE JUST LOOKING FOR ANYBODY THAT MAY HAVE SEEN THIS HAPPEN TO CONTACT US SO WE CAN TRY TO SOLVE THIS AT THIS TIME.

They called this a homicide investigation.The shooting victim was identified as Maria Bunner on Friday. She was transported to OU Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
