Jon Carlisle joined the KOCO team as Assistant News Director in November 2019.

Prior to moving to Oklahoma City, Jon worked in Fayetteville, Cincinnati and Orlando, leading teams through major news events like the shooting at the Pulse nightclub and multiple hurricanes.

Jon is a proud graduate of the University of Arkansas and follows his Razorbacks around the country each fall.

Jon brings a passion for political coverage to KOCO and leads the team’s efforts to interview as many candidates as possible each election cycle.

Jon lives with his wife, three children and their dog in Yukon. You can spot his family out exploring Central Oklahoma nearly every weekend at farmers markets and festivals.
