Football season is in full swing in Oklahoma as high school teams across the state play Week 1 matchups. App Users: Click here to get live score updates.One of the highlights on Friday was the rivalry game between the Southmoore SaberCats and the Westmoore Jaguars in the first ever Southwest Showdown after the schools built their own venues during the offseason.The 16-year-old rivalry ended in favor for the SaberCats as the team put up 17 points to the Jaguars’ 14 points.In Edmond, the Memorial Bulldogs tried to hold back the Deer Creek Antlers but ended up losing after putting up 24 points to the Antlers’ 38 points.In Newcastle, the Racers were routed by the Tuttle Tigers, who ended the game with 27 points to the Racers’ 0. In Yukon, the Millers were nearly shutout, coming back late with 14 points against the Mustang Broncos, who put up 52 points on the scoreboard at the end of the game.Check out more highlights in the video above.
