I have you here. The most unusual off what have been the challenges transitioning from the off season into this. This is my sanctuary babys Joe year 12. That means I've spent just about an entire year of my life up here in the dorms, man. It's uh everybody may see that is pretty uh pretty grueling, but I um I enjoy it, man. There's something about this place to get you ready every single year and um I'm not gonna lie. I got, got pretty excited as the uh as the time started counting down to get out here and get this thing rolling. Big Ed. Yeah, Big Ed's out here. He's running around doing some stuff with the uh the foundation 87 and running and uh uh operation uh breakthroughs, the ignition lab and things like that and then popping out here to Saint Joe in the mornings for 100%. It still is. It's, it's, I mean, it's where it all starts. You can say it starts in the off season and yeah, you wanna, you wanna get that foundation set in the off season of, of the leadership and the, the mentality and things like that. But at the end of the day, this is where you really find out what the team is made of how you sharpen the iron, how you guys practice your practice habits, the attention to detail, you know, and, uh, nobody does it better than coach Reid and coach bags, man. Do anything different, like maintenance wise. I mean, over the, over every single season you find ways to get better at what works for you, what doesn't. Um And, you know, you just want to amp it up every single year so that you keep finding ways to, you know, kind of climb that staircase as success. And uh yeah, I would say I'm doing some things different, uh but nothing really uh in the grand scheme of things just uh putting my nose down and grinding as, as this is uh on the, but as *** veteran on the team, do you like some of your teammates and some of the players in the league popping off about just playing 18 games, kinda like negotiating in public, uh you know, in the media, you know, Joe Burrow talking about, you know, 22 by weeks pro bowl in the mid season where they're just like kind of giving the owners uh things away. I know recently the uh the NFL has talked about, you know, more than 18 games and that's something that the players association has talked about now, but they might be open to some negotiations, I mean, negotiating in public where you're not, you know, talking about extended benefits more. I just ask your past your retirement and, and maybe some type of benefits, health wise, are you, are you *** fan of that? Um I'm more, I'm more of *** fan of the, of the action of it. So we need to get the guys together and then that's why we have the P ***, you know, I think that's where we really make differences in, in the guys' lives now and after football and um you know, sometimes saying *** few things gets that awareness out and gets guys talking and things like that. So I'm no, I'm really neither here nor there. But um at the end of the day when it comes down to *** vote with the P *** and, and the league, uh we need everybody voting on that stuff to really get things. Um I don't know, going in our favor in *** sense you, you're the better, you're of course set for life regardless of, of, of how, how vote take place. But what would you like to see since the last collective bargain that, you know, players kind of focus on, you know, when, because this is going to come up. So what would you like to focus on, man? Uh I would have to really sit down and think about that one. I haven't really thought about much of that right now. I'm just happy that I'm in the NFL and I get to play baby. Much love. There's *** lot of guys even on this offense, I guess, you know, the first week now being in pass, what intrigues you most about? We just got new pieces, we got new chess pieces, guys that have different, you know, traits and we're just trying to blend that all together to make the best team possible, both on offense and defense and obviously special teams. But it's just, it's the ultimate, you know, uh grind session of, of working together. We have to be more together right now than, uh, than even kind of. Well, I want to say during the season, but right now this is where you really build that togetherness, that chemistry, that ability to, you know, lean on each other and fight for each other. Um Well, I think it's just, it's, it's set in stone, you know, coach Reed puts this, uh, this challenge in place and he, he leads his guys and the, and the, and the leaders that have been here, know, know how he, he wants that to be done. So it's really just, you know, you grind, you come, come to work every single day, um and you go to practice with the right intentions, you slowly start to see the team get better and better every single week. I mean, the biggest thing is that we're gonna have to, we're going to have to lock in from the jump. You know, I think, I think we had the guys that were, obviously, we had the guys the entire time. We didn't really make too many moves to bring anybody along during the season. And, um, that being said, you know, we have the guys, I believe we have the guys in this room to, to get it done. We just got to take it week by week and, and keep that focus, keep that, keep that confidence, that focus and uh that alertness to come to work every single day and be able to make those plays like we did later on in the season. Um his practice habits right away. He's, uh he, he immediately became one of the leaders on the team on the offense just by how he's practicing and how he's coming to work his attention to detail. And that's, that's doing wonders for the, the wide receiver room for everybody around seeing that guy wanted that bad every single day. I mean, it's only going to make you want to work harder. And then on top of that, um he's still getting, you know, he's getting better in this offense. So it's fun to see him grow in this offense as well. I wish it was as true as the video made it seem, I kind of just threw it in the stands but I'm, you know, sometimes fate somebody just ends up landing, landing *** glove that they didn't know they were going to get for the first time. I love it. I love it. I can watch it on my phone though. It's got *** good youtube TV, guys *** couple more. Do you have *** score from last night's game between K State and Texas Tech that Patrick was playing on E *** sport. Let's go. Uh Travis, are you just as hard on yourself or *** mistake or? I'm, I'm my biggest worst, I'm my biggest critic or my worst critic. Um Nobody can tell me, uh you know how bad I did on *** play. I know it right. As the play got over with, I know what I need to do better and everything. It's just, you have to have that certain mentality of always finding ways to get, get better even when you have *** success on *** play, you know, and that's just how I've kind of went about it and I, I got that from coach Reed knowing that you could always do things better and you, you can always make somebody else's job easier on this field. Travis. I know, uh this is *** question that's further down the line, but as someone who's gonna be, you know, in the legacy of, of this franchise, do you have uh an opinion on the stadium? Do you want the team to say an airhead or have you thought about that at all? Um I guess, uh iii, I guess you know, Arrowhead is home for me in Missouri right now. You know, I've been there for the past 12 years so I, I do feel like it's ***, it's *** part of my heart and everything playing in that stadium out there in, in Raytown. But, uh, you know, the fans want what the fans want, we play for them. So it's, I think it's up to them and, uh, and the, and the, and the head of the organization Clark Hunt and everybody I know they'll do the best that they can to, to give everybody what they want and make the best decision for the organization. Paris. Also, we saw you traveling around quite *** bit this summer. Was there anything that you had to do, get prepared for this? That was different than say year six, year seven based on just the obligations you're, you're doing. Um, I would say for the, for the biggest, the biggest thing was, uh, getting my body right. You know, last year was pretty taxing on my, uh, on my body. And, um, I mean, it is what it is. I've, I've, I've had more snaps than *** lot of guys, if not everybody in the NFL over the past 56 years. And, you know, I'm very fortunate, I'm very prideful of that. But, uh, I know it, it has taken *** toll on my body. So it's just, you know, making sure that my body is getting that rest and that, that ability to, you know, train harder and, uh, and be able to withstand an entire 17 to 20 game season. It's, it's the, it's the full game and I got guys all over the place. I have my personal PT and then on top of that, I got the best in the world here in Kansas City. So, yes, speaking of 18 game season, what are your thought in terms of where that could go and what would have to happen to make that? I know. I know it's *** 17 game season this year and I'm gonna try and make it all the way to New Orleans, baby. Thank you for last year on that article.

They may be flying but they won't get far on that circular track. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is "racing" into a new sport: Horse racing. And, he's doing it with a nod to his girlfriend, pop superstar Taylor Swift.According to the Associated Press, Team Valor International founder and CEO Barry Irwin announced Tuesday that Kelce and the Zoldan family recently acquired a significant share of a 3-year-old racehorse named "Swift Delivery."Of course, Irwin says the gelding wasn't named for Swift, it was just "a total coincidence," he told AP. Kelce bought into the ownership group about a month ago after being spotted taking in the sport at the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in May. “I met him at the Kentucky Derby and got to spend some time with him and stuff, and we talked about horses and everything," Irwin said. "When this horse came to light and it was owned by one of my partners already, with the name I figured this has got to be a no-brainer.”Kelce talked about his experience, which he called a "once-in-a-lifetime" event on his "New Heights" podcast with brother, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. Travis Kelce said during the podcast, "I'm a Derby guy now, man," and added it was something he wanted to experience again. He may have to wait a little while longer with the NFL regular season getting ready to kick off.Meanwhile, according to TMZ, Kelce was recently spotted at Swift's lavish Rhode Island home as the singer hosted a birthday gathering for friend and actress Blake Lively. TMZ reports the star-studded yet low-key party also hosted Lively's husband, "Deadpool" actor Ryan Reynolds, brother Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie, massive Philly fan and actor Bradley Cooper, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, and more.
