A LOT OF DETAILS. THIS IS PRETTY WILD. WELL, ABBY, IT WAS ULTIMATELY A TIP THAT LED ENID POLICE TO THIS HOME ALONG EAST ASH AND 12TH STREET. FROM THERE, THAT’S WHEN THEY DISCOVERED THOSE REMAINS. THE INFORMATION RECEIVED WAS IN RELATION TO HIS CASE. ENID POLICE GOT A TIP TUESDAY THAT LED THEM TO THIS BACKYARD ALONG 12TH AND ASH AVENUE. RECEIVED A INFORMATION THAT LED THEM TO DISCOVER SOME HUMAN REMAINS THAT WERE IN A STORM CELLAR. THE REMAINS ARE BELIEVED TO BE THOSE OF 27 YEAR OLD COLBY SHEPHERD, WHO WAS REPORTED MISSING IN JANUARY. TWO MEN ALREADY IN GARFIELD COUNTY CUSTODY FOR OTHER CRIMES, ALLEGEDLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEATH. THE TWO NOW FACE ADDITIONAL CHARGES OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER IN CONNECTION TO SHEPHERD’S DEATH. THEY SAY THE SUSPECTS THOUGHT SHEPHERD HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE WOMAN’S DISAPPEARANCE. KENDRA VITELLO IS ANOTHER MISSING PERSON CASE DATING BACK TO 2022. Police arrested three people after human remains were found Tuesday on a property in Enid amid an investigation into a missing persons case. Due to information discovered during the investigation and the human remains, two people were booked on first-degree murder complaints.Two of the suspects, who KOCO 5 is not naming because formal charges have not been filed, were already in custody at the Garfield County Detention Facility on unrelated complaints. The third suspect was arrested Wednesday afternoon in downtown Enid.
