HURT. WE’RE APPROACHING 903 HERE IN DEVELOPING NOW. A SUSPECT TAKEN INTO CUSTODY AFTER A STANDOFF THIS MORNING WITH OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE. KOCO SHELBY MONTGOMERY HAS BEEN SPEAKING WITH POLICE AND HAS MORE INFORMATION. AND, SHELBY, WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED SINCE EARLIER THAT STANDOFF ENDED AROUND 630. THIS MORNING. BUT AS YOU CAN SEE, POLICE ARE STILL HERE SEARCHING THE APARTMENT. THE SUSPECT WAS BARRICADED INSIDE OF. YOU CAN SEE ONE OF THE WINDOWS THERE IS BROKEN. THAT SUSPECT WANTED FOR A SHOOTING ON SUNDAY ON NORTHWEST 42ND. AROUND MIDNIGHT. THEY FOUND HIM HERE ON THE BALCONY BEFORE HE BARRICADED HIMSELF INSIDE WITH ANOTHER PERSON. POLICE SAY THEY WEREN’T SURE IF THAT WOMAN WAS A HOSTAGE OR WAS VOLUNTARILY WITH THE SUSPECT. AT AROUND 615, THEY BOTH CAME OUT AND SURRENDERED. WE WERE ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH THIS WITHOUT ANYBODY GETTING HURT. OBVIOUSLY, WHEN YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT A RESIDENTIAL AREA OR A HOTEL WHERE THERE’S OTHER PEOPLE STAYING, THERE’S THE CONCERN THAT SOMEBODY’S INNOCENT, SOMEBODY THAT DOESN’T EVEN KNOW WHAT’S GOING ON MIGHT GET HURT. AND IN THIS CASE, NOBODY’S HURT. THAT SUSPECT WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY, AND POLICE CONTINUE THEIR INVESTIGATION THIS MORNING.

A suspect wanted in connection with a weekend shooting was arrested early Tuesday morning after an hours-long standoff with Oklahoma City police at a Bethany apartment complex.>> Get the latest news stories of interest by clicking here.Around midnight, police spotted a suspect on a balcony at an apartment complex near Northwest 39th Expressway and MacArthur Boulevard. The suspect was sought for a shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon on Northwest 42nd Street after two women got into a fight, leaving one injured."At some point, officers were able to identify exactly who he was, found his location last night," Master Sgt. Gary Knight said. After being seen, the suspect barricaded himself inside an apartment. Police blocked off the street with an armored car at the scene while they tried to get the suspect out."They tried to call him out of the residence. A suspect wanted in connection with a weekend shooting was arrested early Tuesday morning after an hours-long standoff with Oklahoma City police at a Bethany apartment complex.

Around midnight, police spotted a suspect on a balcony at an apartment complex near Northwest 39th Expressway and MacArthur Boulevard. The suspect was sought for a shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon on Northwest 42nd Street after two women got into a fight, leaving one injured.
