ON FRIDAY, SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC SCHOOLS RYAN WALTERS TOLD KOCO HE IS GOING TO LAUNCH AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE DISTRICT AND WILL DEFEND THE STUDENTS UNTIL THAT RULE IS CHANGED. SOME LAWMAKERS AT THE CAPITOL ALSO REACTING. A GROUP OF SENATORS AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM EDMOND ASKING THE DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT TO RECONSIDER THE RULES ON FLAGS, OR AT LEAST CREATE A CLEAR GUIDELINE. THE AMERICAN FLAG IS NOT LIKE ANY OTHER FLAG IN THIS. IN THE WORLD. WE WE FOUGHT FOR THAT FLAG. WE HAVE A RIGHT TO RAISE THAT FLAG. SOME LOCAL VETERANS ALSO VOICING THEIR SUPPORT FOR THE STUDENTS AS WELL. WHAT THEY’RE DOING IS SETTING THE EXAMPLE FOR OTHERS. LOOK WHAT THEY’VE DONE.
