A school bus was involved in a hit-and-run crash Thursday morning just blocks from the state Capitol in northeast Oklahoma City.

The incident happened near Northeast 23rd Street and Santa Fe Avenue, just before the on-ramp for northbound Interstate 235.
Oklahoma City Fire Department officials told KOCO 5 that seven children and a driver were on the bus. They reported feeling a tap on the back of the school bus, and the driver involved fled the scene.
KOCO 5 crews saw that the school bus had minor damage to its back end, and there was some debris in the road.
No injuries were reported, and the school bus drove away from the scene. Information about the car that hit the school bus has not been released.
