People who want to vote early can start doing so Thursday morning in 53 counties across Oklahoma.

Early voting for next week's runoff primary election began on Thursday. Along with deciding runoff primary races between Republicans and Democrats, voters will decide on whether to increase Oklahoma City's hotel tax as well as a bond that would impact infrastructure and community facilities in Piedmont. People who want to vote early can start doing so Thursday morning in 53 counties across Oklahoma. Early voting is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Voters who will cast their ballots in the 32 counties with state or county runoff primaries also will have early voting available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. >> Download the KOCO 5 AppThe Oklahoma State Election Board says not every voter in every precinct will have an election as 24 counties don't have elections. People who would like to vote early will have to do so at their county election board. Click here to find where you can vote. Voters can also see what's on their ballot by logging into the Oklahoma Voter Portal. Because Oklahoma has modified, closed primaries, not everyone can vote for every race. Registered Republicans can only vote in Republican races, and the Oklahoma Democratic Party allows Independents to participate in their primary. Libertarians also have a closed primary.
