BUT AT THIS POINT, THE CLOCK IS TICKING. WE JUST REALLY WANT TO GET HIM HOME SAFELY. THE SEARCH IS ON FOR RESCUE GOAT CALEB, WHO HAS NOW BEEN MISSING FROM A GOAT SANCTUARY IN HARVARD FOR MORE THAN 24 HOURS. VOLUNTEERS WERE UNLOADING HIM AND HIS BROTHER FROM A TRUCK YESTERDAY AFTERNOON WHEN HE GOT SPOOKED AND BOLTED. WE HAD ABOUT FIVE PEOPLE, ALL AROUND THE BACK OF THE TRUCK GETTING THEM OUT, AND WE WERE GETTING JOEY OUT, HIS BROTHER, AND AS WE WERE PULLING HIM OUT, CALEB JUST BROKE FREE. THE ELDERLY GOAT RAN OFF INTO THE WOODS AND WAS LAST SEEN NEAR LITTLETON COUNTY ROAD AND OLD SCHOOLHOUSE ROAD. WE’RE GOING TO HEAD DOWN TO WHERE THE WHERE THE GOAT WAS LAST SPOTTED ENTERING INTO THE WOODS, AND I THINK WE’RE GOING TO WALK THE TRAILS AND SEE IF WE CAN FIND ANY EVIDENCE. A COMMUNITY SEARCH GROUP FANNED OUT THIS AFTERNOON, DETERMINED TO FIND HIM. I’M GOING TO GO HIGH BECAUSE I THINK INSTINCTUALLY THAT’S WHERE GOATS LIKE TO GO. SO I’M GOING TO GO HIGHER UP AND TRY AND FIND HIM, AND WE’LL BRING HIM HOME. I HAVE A LOT OF HOPE THAT WE WILL. THE SANCTUARY IS OFFERING A $5,000 REWARD TO ANYONE WHO CAN HELP BRING CALEB HOME. WE’RE JUST SICK TO OUR STOMACHS WITH WORRY BECAUSE THERE ARE PREDATORS OUT HERE THAT COULD OBVIOUSLY HURT OR KILL HIM. AND HE’S AN ELDERLY GOAT, SO WE JUST WANT TO GET HIM BACK TO SAFETY. IF YOU SEE CALEB, YOU SHOULD NOT CHASE HIM. INSTEAD, JUST FOLLOW A CLOSE DISTANCE BEHIND AND CALL THE SANCTUARY OR POLICE. LI
