Jonathan says the threat is for isolated storms with damaging 60-70 mph winds. He also said the storms could produce 1-inch hail.
Storms will move into the Panhandle before 7 p.m. on Friday before moving east and reaching the Oklahoma City metro after 10 p.m. Jonathan says they may not be in the area until after midnight.
The storms will then move past Interstate 35 and along Interstate 40 around 1 a.m. on Saturday.
Jonathan says Oklahoma should be done with storms for the weekend after that. Temperatures during the weekend, however, will be hot and reach the triple digits.
