The Oklahoma City Thunder now know the road back to the playoffs after the NBA released the schedule for the 2024-25 season.

The Thunder, who claimed the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and were eliminated in the conference semifinals last season, open the season on the road on Oct. 24 against the Denver Nuggets. After a game in Chicago, the Thunder will play their first home game of the season against the Atlanta Hawks on Oct. 27.
Oklahoma City will host 16 home weekend games and will have four homestands of at least four games. The Thunder also are scheduled for 25 nationally televised appearances, with nine on ESPN, five on TNT, one on KOCO 5 and 10 on NBA TV.
Although the Thunder won't play on Christmas Day, they face off against the Charlotte Hornets on the road on Dec. 26 and host a New Year's Eve matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Single-game tickets for October and December will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Sept. 21. Tickets for the 2025 slate of games will be available at a later date.
