Kaswan was the owner of the plane that crashed after the aircraft's wing struck a hay bale, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. A memorial service was held for him Sunday, according to an obituary by a funeral home that he was in the care of.
A father and his two sons were also killed in the crash. They were identified as Daniel Swinehart, 37, Landin, 13, and Hudson, 10.
Quail Springs Baptist Church on Friday released a statement, saying they were heartbroken by the deaths of Daniel and his two sons.
“Daniel's wife and the boys' mother, Victoria Swinehart, was not on board the aircraft and is enduring this grief with the support of her family, friends, and church community. In these dark times, we draw strength from our faith,” church officials said in the statement.
