Lt. Jeff Cooper, with the Oklahoma City Police Department, confirmed that one person died near the Fred Factory Garden Apartments off Dunjee Boulevard and Northeast 39th Street. The apartment complex has a Spencer address, but is within Oklahoma City limits, according to the city of Oklahoma City's boundary map.
Two other people were shot and taken to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries. The extent of their injuries was not released.
Police said they are working two different scenes, the main area being off of Dunjee Boulevard and the other across the street, about 200 yards away.
"One of the victims was on this side of the street, and the other two were in the apartment complex. So, when we got here, the shooting happened at the apartment complex, and one of the victims was on the other side of the road,” Cooper said.
Police said no suspects are in custody in connection to the shooting.
