UP HERE IN A FEW MINUTES. OKAY JONATHAN, TALK TO YOU THEN. THOUSANDS OF OGNI CUSTOMERS GETTING THE LIGHTS TURNED BACK ON AFTER A CAR CRASHED INTO A POWER POLE OVERNIGHT. OUR KOCO CAMERAS AND SKY FIVE ON THE SCENE THIS MORNING AS CREWS WORKED TO REPAIR THOSE DOWNED POWER LINES OVERNIGHT. AND KOCO CAMERON SIBERT TALKED TO WITNESSES THERE ON THAT SCENE. YEAH, A BIT OF A CONFUSING MORNING FOR ABOUT 5000 DIFFERENT RESIDENTS IN THIS AREA. WAKING UP WITHOUT POWER AFTER A CAR CRASHED INTO A POWER LINE HERE NEAR 10TH IN MERIDIAN. THE GOOD NEWS IS THE LIGHTS ARE NOW BACK ON. THEY CAME ON AROUND 530 THIS MORNING. WE SPOKE WITH OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE ABOUT THIS. THEY SAY IT WAS JUST ONE SUV INVOLVED IN THE CRASH. WE HAVEN’T HAD AN UPDATE ON ANY POTENTIAL INJURIES TO THE DRIVER INVOLVED WITH THIS. AGAIN, OVER 5000 PEOPLE WHO WOKE UP WITHOUT POWER THIS MORNING. WE TALKED TO ONE RESIDENT. HE SAYS HE WAS CONFUSED WHEN HE WOKE UP WITHOUT POWER. CONFUSED BECAUSE HE NO POWER. HE GO TO THE RESTROOM. THEY SAY NO POWER. YEAH, YOU DON’T PAY THE BILL? NO, YOU PAY THE BILL. PERO EVERYTHING OKAY? AND NOW I HAVE THE POWER NOW. SO AGAIN, THE LIGHTS NOW BACK ON SOME OF THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS HAVE BEEN IMPACTED WITH THE BLINKING RED ICON ON THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS. SO SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT IF THIS IS PART OF YOUR MORNING COMMUTE, IT MIGHT TAKE A LITTLE EXTRA TIME. "When I came out in the morning, I see no power. My wife said, 'Did you pay the bill?' I said, 'Yeah, I paid the bill.' But when I came outside, no power," Efrin Rodriguez said. "Everything is OK. I have power now."

Oklahoma City police told KOCO 5 that the driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. They also were taken to a hospital after suffering minor injuries, according to police.
