OUR KOCO CAMERAS ON THAT SCENE OVERNIGHT NEAR SOUTHEAST 62ND AND LINDSAY. KOCO COLBY TERRELL SPOKE WITH POLICE AND JOINS US WITH THE VERY LATEST. OKLAHOMA CITY POLICE RESPONDED TO A CALL OF A SHOOTING AROUND 10 P.M. SUNDAY NIGHT AND FOUND A MAN DEAD INSIDE A HOME. NOW, POLICE HAVE LEFT THAT SCENE AND IT’S NOT CLEAR WHERE OR HOW MANY TIMES THAT MAN WAS SHOT. NOW OKC PD TELLS US THIS HAPPENED RIGHT NEAR 62ND STREET AND LINDSAY AVENUE IN SOUTH OKC. ALL WE KNOW IS THAT THEY WERE CALLED TO A SHOOTING. AND WHEN THEY GOT THERE THEY FOUND A BODY. THEY SAY THEY DO HAVE SOMEONE IN CUSTODY. BUT THEY’RE NOT CALLING THAT PERSON A SUSPECT YET. Police say a suspect was taken into custody after a deadly shooting late Sunday night at a southeast Oklahoma City home.| ORIGINAL STORY | Police investigate deadly shooting in south Oklahoma CityAround 10 p.m., police responded to a reported shooting at a home near Southeast 62nd Street and Lindsay Avenue. Police say a suspect was taken into custody after a deadly shooting late Sunday night at a southeast Oklahoma City home.

Around 10 p.m., police responded to a reported shooting at a home near Southeast 62nd Street and Lindsay Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a man dead inside the home.

"The subject was pronounced dead at the scene, and we do have one person in custody at this time," Lt. Jeff Cooper said.

The Oklahoma City Police Department identified the victim as Gary Andrew Westrick, 33.
