Watch: Fashion makes a statement at the RNC
At the Republican National Convention, fashion is one way to make a political statement.
Delegates wore hats to represent their states on the first day of the RNC in Milwaukee.
Texas delegates decorated cowboy hats with pins, scarves and sequins, while West Virginia delegates wore hard hats covered in political stickers.
Tennessee delegates were in bright orange to pay homage to the University of Tennessee Volunteers and North Carolina delegates continued a tradition of wearing blue pinstripes during rollcall.
Personal service dogs had their own handkerchiefs to stay in style and it wasn't just delegates who dressed for the occasion.
Sara Brady, a political dressmaker, changed her entire outfit in just days to show her support for former President Donald Trump after an attempted assassination at a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday. A tribute to a photo of Trump leaving the rally with his fist in the air is now front and center on the gown.
"You know, after what happened this last weekend, and then seeing this picture, it was so legendary and iconic. I was like, that’s gotta go on a dress, and I put it on the dress," Brady said.
