In a post Sunday morning, the Colbert Fire Department Dive Team and Water Rescue said they were still searching for the man, adding that they were being assisted by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Cartwright Fire Department since Friday evening.
Family members on Facebook said the man was on a boat near Sunset Cove Friday when he and a friend went into the lake to swim. The boat reportedly moved away from where they were swimming and his friend was later found, but the man didn’t return, according to a Facebook post.
A family member said the man was the father of a boy and a girl and prayed for his safe return, according to another post.
