WELL, THIS WEEK IS MEN’S HEALTH WEEK IN AN EFFORT TO RAISE AWARENESS, WE TEAMED UP WITH OUR PARTNERS AT MEN’S HEALTH MAGAZINE TO TALK ABOUT TOPICS REALLY IMPORTANT TO MEN OUT THERE. FIRST UP, MENTAL HEALTH. RICHARD DORMAN IS THE EDITOR IN CHIEF OF THE MEN’S HEALTH MAGAZINE. AND HE SAYS IT’S ACTUALLY A MYTH THAT MEN DON’T CARE ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH OR PRIORITIZE IT. THAT, FOR US WAS A SURPRISING REVELATION AS WELL. OFTEN KNOWING HOW TO TREAT MENTAL HEALTH, YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHAT TRIGGERS IT. SO ACCORDING TO DORMANT MONEY, JOBS, EVEN POLITICS ARE THE BIGGEST STRESSORS THAT MEN ARE REPORTING. BOTTOM LINE, CARING FOR YOUR WHOLE BODY, EATING RIGHT, SLEEPING, TALKING TO YOUR DOCTOR AND IMPLEMENTING EXERCISE, EVEN MEDITATION. ALSO, THERE’S A BIG CORRELATION BETWEEN SOCIALIZING AND BEING SATISFIED IN LIFE. MEN’S HEALTH IS OWNED BY WPBF PARENT. COMPANY HEARST, AND WE’RE PARTNERING WITH THEM ALL WEEK LONG TO RAISE AWARENESS.
